Co-Owners Robert and Michael have innovated and improved service delivery systems throughout their public safety careers, resulting in over $20 million in savings for local governments. By focusing on mission-critical electrification based on our mission-critical microgrids (pat. no. 11,932,130 B2) we have unlocked even more savings (over $150 million) while simultaneously increasing resiliency and security for essential services.

Michael Benson, MPA EFO is a retired Fire Chief, electric vehicle enthusiast and advocate. He focuses on consulting with municipalities, businesses and other essential services to develop microgrids providing stacked values: energy savings, revenue, security, resiliency and more. Michael is the President of the Board of Directors for Green Energy Ohio, a contributor to numerous public safety magazines, a member of the Critical Services Microgrid Group in Asheville, NC, a volunteer member of the Electric Vehicle Association of Ohio and Drive Electric NE Ohio, and is an accomplished speaker and presenter. He live in NE Ohio with his family, a solar + storage microgrid and three EV's.

Robert Pursley, PhD EFO is a retired Fire Chief and expert in public policy. His research on microgrid policy confirmed municipalities need expert assistance in developing renewable energy, storage and EV charging infrastructure. The resiliency of a community in the face of ever-increasing power outages, storms and other disasters is paramount, and our mission-critical microgrids (Pat. No. 1,932,130 B2) help to provide this resiliency. Rob is also an expert in emergency service systems, professional development and training programs, and he is a licensed counselor with a focus on helping first responders.
